Salmon River Canyon Cleanup 22 Sept. 2012
Please join us Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 9am at Timberline Lodge’s Salmon River parking lot for the 2nd annual Salmon River Canyon Cleanup. All participants except the Portland Mountain Rescue crew will head down canyon to put a serious dent in a spectacular mess. Bring gloves and be prepared for alpine weather contingencies. We will provide coffee, doughnuts, garbage bags and an after party, sponsored by Stone Brewing, at Charlie’s Mountain View in Govy.
The schedule for the day is as follows:
8:00am-9:00am Gather at Timberline’s Salmon River parking lot
9:30am-12:30(ish)pm give the Salmon River headwaters a good scrubbing
1:30pm-4:00pm(ish) gather at Charlie’s Mountain View in Goverment Camp

Where is the salmon river parking lot? I only know of one giant lot up at timberline…
It’s also called the overflow lot and is on the right as you approach the Lodge. You will see Portland Mountain Rescue vehicles and some tables set up.
